Meeting Agenda
Registration & Networking
8:30 – 9:00am
KEYNOTE
This year’s keynote speaker will be Dimple Abichandani, a nationally recognized philanthropic leader, lawyer, advisor, and author of A New Era of Philanthropy: Ten Practices to Transform Wealth Into a More Just and Sustainable Future, a book that reimagines how philanthropy can meet this moment.

PANEL
The second half of the meeting will be a panel on the topic of how to be both visionary and responsive in the current climate. Rhode Island philanthropy leaders will share their responses to the challenges presented by the current moment—in particular, how they are balancing investments that are responsive to critical needs with investments in long-term, strategic and visionary efforts. Hear their perspectives on philanthropy’s role in this moment, concrete examples of responses, and the philanthropic sector can work together as an ‘ecosystem.’
