Senior Program Officer, Charles Stewart Mott Foundation

We are faced with complex community challenges that no one organization can address alone.   GCRI is committed to creating a space for collaboration and shared impact to build a better Rhode Island.

Join us as we celebrate the potential of partnership at our Annual Meeting on Tuesday, November 1.

We are excited to welcome Gwynn Hughes, a Senior Program Officer at the Mott Foundation, to share her expertise on what is necessary to develop positive, sustainable partnerships that maximize community impact.

It will be a valuable time of connecting with peers and learning from the successes of a national leader in the field of community collaboration.

Mark your calendar for November 1, 11:00am-1:00pm at United Way of Rhode Island!

RSVP to Nancy Wolanski at nancy.wolanski@uwri.org or 401-444-0628

Gwynn Hughes joined Mott in 2010 and manages the Foundation’s largest grantmaking portfolio, Advancing Afterschool, which supports — among many other organizations — 50 statewide afterschool networks. Prior to joining the Foundation, Hughes served as executive director of the Massachusetts Afterschool Partnership in Boston from 2004 through 2010. She also held several positions with the State of Massachusetts, where she focused on policy and practice initiatives supporting children and families, serving consecutively as director of labor relations, chief operating officer of the Office of Child Care Services, and chief of Project Management and Policy Support for the Executive Office of Health and Human Services.
