Results of GCRI/United Way of Rhode Island Survey on the Impact of COVID 19 on Nonprofits

For the last 18 months, Rhode Island nonprofits have shouldered a tremendous responsibility as the frontline crisis responders, trusted voices, and compassionate, committed innovators in communities across the state. They have adapted services and programming to an ever-shifting public health crisis; persisted in their work as expenses and need increased and revenues declined; and have continued to address issues of equity and inequality that have been highlighted by the pandemic and economic crises.

Join us to learn about the impact of COVID-19 on the nonprofit sector in Rhode Island, as well as the resource and capacity building supports needed to move the sector forward–from recovery to resilience.

Thank you to GCRI members who shared the survey with their community partners, and especially to the over 300 Rhode Island nonprofits who responded to the survey — your time and input have provided essential data to tell the sector’s story to funders, policymakers and the public.
