RI Council for the Humanities Annual Celebration
GCRI members are invited to join RI Council for the Humanities (also a GCRI member) at their annual Celebration of the Humanities, Thursday, October 6 at the Providence Public Library. The Celebration will recognize and the people and projects that make Rhode Island a vital place to live and work.
Four distinguished awards will be presented to honorees whose work demonstrates how the humanities Amplify – heightening awareness of voices and stories that need to be heard, resonating with current issues and future possibilities, and magnifying connections between economy, community, and culture. The event will feature an open wine bar provided by Campus Fine Wines, hors d’oeuvres, and a silent auction featuring unique humanities experiences.
